Arsenal are bracing themselves for a significant squad overhaul this summer, with eleven players almost certain to leave, per The Mirror. Under new sporting director Andrea Berta, the Gunners aim to streamline their roster, raise funds, and align with Mikel Arteta’s vision for Premier League and Champions League success.

Neto and Raheem Sterling, both on loan from Bournemouth and Chelsea, will return to their parent clubs. Neto, 35, has not played, with David Raya entrenched as first-choice goalkeeper, while Sterling’s lackluster season—two goals in 14 appearances—ends his Arsenal stint.

Kieran Tierney, out of contract, is set for a free transfer to Celtic, who have a pre-agreement. Injuries and Arteta’s preference for inverted full-backs have sidelined the 27-year-old Scot.

Similarly, Oleksandr Zinchenko, valued at €22m, is likely to depart, with Borussia Dortmund eyeing the 29-year-old Ukrainian.

Thomas Partey and Jorginho, both 31 and 33 respectively, are out of contract. Partey’s injury history and Jorginho’s talks with Flamengo signal their exits. The arrival of Martin Zubimendi further reduces their roles.

Nuno Tavares, on loan at Lazio with a £7.5m obligation to buy, and Albert Sambi Lokonga, at Sevilla with a £10m option, are unlikely to return.

Fabio Vieira, thriving on loan at Porto but deemed too lightweight for the Premier League, is valued at €22m and expected to be sold. Although a final decision is yet to be made on the midfielders’ future.

Reiss Nelson, on loan at Fulham, and Marquinhos, now at Cruzeiro after Fluminense, face uncertain futures. Nelson’s 18-year Arsenal tenure may end, while Marquinhos’ multiple loans suggest no first-team path.

This clearout, potentially raising £110m, reflects Berta’s ruthless approach to squad-building. For Arsenal fans, these exits pave the way for strategic signings, ensuring the club remains competitive at the highest level.

To fill the voids, Arsenal are targeting high-profile replacements. Martin Zubimendi (£51m) is a near-confirmed midfield addition to replace Jorginho and Partey.

Alexander Isak, Viktor Gyokeres, or Benjamin Sesko are top striker targets to bolster the attack, per @Plettigoal.

Nico Williams or Jamie Gittens could replace Sterling and Nelson on the wings, while Joan Garcia is eyed as a goalkeeper to succeed Neto.

Jorrel Hato or Andrea Cambiaso are left-back options to cover Tierney and Zinchenko’s exits, ensuring Arsenal’s squad remains dynamic and competitive.
