Arsenal have reignited their interest in West Ham United forward Mohammed Kudus as Mikel Arteta looks to strengthen his attacking options ahead of the summer transfer window, according to multiple reports.
The Gunners have tracked Kudus in previous windows and are once again considering a move for the Ghana international. talkSPORT reports that the Champions League semi-finalists have added the 24-year-old to their list of summer targets as Arteta looks to add more creativity and firepower to his squad following another unsuccessful Premier League title bid.
With Athletic Club winger Nico Williams previously identified as a top target, Arsenal are now turning their attention to alternatives after a move for the Spain international became increasingly unlikely.

Kudus, who joined West Ham from Ajax in a £38 million deal last summer, has impressed in flashes during his first season in English football. He has recorded six goal involvements in the Premier League and 14 in all competitions. However, inconsistency has plagued his debut campaign at the London Stadium.

West Ham are reportedly open to selling Kudus as they prepare for a rebuild under incoming manager Graham Potter. According to the Daily Mail, the player’s contract includes a £125 million release clause for Saudi Arabian clubs and an £85 million clause for Premier League sides — a figure the Hammers are keen to receive if they sanction his departure.

However, that valuation could prove a stumbling block. TBR Football claims that Arsenal are not willing to meet the £85 million clause and have set a maximum offer of £50 million for the forward, casting doubt on whether a deal can be reached unless West Ham lower their demands.
Liverpool have also been linked with Kudus, but the high asking price is expected to deter several Premier League suitors, especially after the player’s inconsistent performances this season.
