Arsenal have officially launched their new home kit for the 2025/26 season, which will be worn for the first time during their upcoming Premier League clash with Newcastle United at the Emirates Stadium this Sunday.

Continuing their successful partnership with Adidas, the Gunners’ latest kit design pays homage to the “heart of Arsenal”, incorporating a unique artistic concept that draws inspiration from the human heart to symbolise passion, unity, and identity. The creative campaign takes supporters on what the club describes as “a journey to the source of life behind the badge.”

The new red-and-white shirt features the gothic ‘A’ from Arsenal’s historic “Victoria Concordia Crescit” crest — first introduced in 1949 — subtly woven into the fabric. The same gothic ‘A’ motif also appears on the front of the red socks. The kit is completed with white shorts accented by red detailing.

For goalkeepers, the club has unveiled a vibrant yellow kit with red trim, including matching yellow shorts and socks.

To mark the launch, Arsenal released a special short film featuring stars from both the men’s and women’s teams, alongside young participants from Arsenal in the Community — the club’s social outreach arm, which is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year. The film is underscored by the sound of the players’ real heartbeats and includes their internal monologues, aiming to “redefine the concept of home” and highlight the deep emotional connection shared by fans around the world.

Arsenal’s rising star Myles Lewis-Skelly praised the new design, saying: “I love our new kit, it looks fresh – I’m excited to wear this in front of our incredible supporters. Their energy lifts us and when we step out in the shirt, we feel it more than ever.”

Arsenal Women’s captain Kim Little added: “Supporters are at the heart of everything we do, and this new kit connects to that so deeply. We carry our supporters with us, and they carry us with them, no matter where they are. They push us forward.”

As part of the new season preparations, Arsenal also confirmed updated squad numbers for key players. Spanish goalkeeper David Raya, who has established himself as the Gunners’ first-choice shot-stopper since his arrival from Brentford, will wear a new number that reflects his No.1 status. Meanwhile, promising teenager Ethan Nwaneri will take over the No.22 shirt, having previously worn No.53.

The new home kit is available for purchase now and will be on full display this weekend as Arsenal play their final home game of the season — and penultimate league fixture — against Newcastle.
