Gabriel Martinelli has spoken out about his future at Arsenal, reaffirming his commitment to the club as he enters the final two years of his current contract.
The Brazilian forward, who signed his most recent deal in February 2023, remains under contract until the summer of 2027, with the club holding an option to extend it by a further 12 months.
Speaking ahead of Arsenal’s Champions League semi-final first leg against Paris Saint-Germain, Martinelli made it clear he sees his future in North London.

“I’ve always said that I’m really happy here,” Martinelli told reporters. “This is my home. I love being here. I love the club. The club has given me so much, not just on the pitch, but off the pitch as well. I’ve improved a lot with the club — of course, on the pitch is important, but off the pitch as well. The people who work around the club, the fans, everyone — they’ve been amazing.”

Martinelli, who joined Arsenal from Brazilian side Ituano in 2019, has been a standout figure during his six-year stay. A rare survivor from the pre-Mikel Arteta era, the winger recently reached the milestone of 50 goals in 219 appearances and could be in line for another contract extension if discussions progress.
The 22-year-old is expected to start on the left wing at the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday night, looking to build on his impressive showing at the Bernabéu, where he capped Arsenal’s 5-1 aggregate win over Real Madrid with a stunning solo goal in stoppage time.

Having witnessed both the struggles and resurgence at Arsenal — including a period when the club missed out on European competition altogether — Martinelli said it feels like a dream to now be challenging for the continent’s biggest prize.

“It’s a dream to be here,” he said. “Since I started playing football at five or six years old, I dreamed of playing in the Champions League.
“To be in the semi-final is amazing. It’s a dream — and we’re ready.”
Arsenal are bidding to reach their first Champions League final since 2006 — and Martinelli is determined to help deliver a historic triumph for the club he calls home.
