Arsenal have been named the seventh most valuable football club in Europe, following a remarkable 29% rise in their “Enterprise Value” over the last 12 months, according to the latest Football Benchmark report.
The Gunners’ value has been estimated at an impressive €4.01 billion, up from €3.1 billion a year ago, marking a €900 million increase and lifting them three places from 10th in the 2024 edition of the report. This jump represents the fourth-highest year-on-year growth among the top 30 clubs analysed, with only Aston Villa (42%), Real Sociedad (35%), and Eintracht Frankfurt (32%) posting larger gains.

Titled “Football Clubs’ Valuation: The European Elite 2025”, the study attributes Arsenal’s sharp valuation increase to strong on-pitch performance, a 34% boost in operating revenue, and overall improvements across key financial metrics. Arsenal also recorded the highest increase among the top 10 most valuable clubs.
The report, produced by Football Benchmark — a spin-off of KPMG’s Sports Centre of Excellence — measures a club’s “Enterprise Value” using a proprietary algorithm that factors in five critical parameters: profitability, popularity, sporting potential, broadcasting rights, and stadium ownership. The EV metric accounts for the market value of owners’ equity plus total debt, minus cash and cash equivalents, offering a comprehensive picture of a club’s true worth, regardless of how its operations are financed.

These figures also correspond with findings from the most recent Deloitte Football Money League, which revealed that Arsenal saw a 35% increase in revenue during the 2023/24 season, further underlining the club’s commercial and sporting resurgence under Mikel Arteta and ownership by Stan Kroenke.
