Andrea Berta set to sell nine Arsenal players at the end of this season

The summer transfer window will be a very busy one for both manager Mikel Arteta and sporting director Andrea Berta as the club may likely release nine players at the end of the season. While some names on the list appear among the expected names who are currently on loan, lack playing time, or must depart to gain more experience and more playing time, shocking names also appear on the list.
Neto and Karl Hein are the two goalkeepers expected to leave Arsenal this summer. Neto, the Brazilian shot-stopper, has struggled to make an impact at the club after signing for Arsenal last summer on transfer deadline day following the completion of his loan move from Bournemouth.
Hein, the Estonian international, has been unable to dislodge Aaron Ramsdale or David Raya from the starting lineup. Hein began his youth career at JK Loo at the age of eight before moving to the youth team of Nõmme United in 2015. He made five senior appearances for Nõmme United in the Estonian third tier, Esiliiga B, before joining the academy of English club Arsenal in May 2018.

Nuno Tavares and Kieran Tierney are the two defenders expected to leave Arsenal this summer. Portuguese left-back Tavares has been on loan from Arsenal at Serie A club Lazio, and is unlikely to return to the club, while Scottish international Tierney, has been linked with a move away from the Emirates Stadium due to limited playing time.
Sambi Lokonga and Jorginho are the two midfielders expected to depart Arsenal this summer. Sambi Lokonga joined La Liga side Sevilla on a season-long loan last summer. The 24-year-old midfielder spent last season on loan with Luton Town.

Lokonga, has struggled to establish himself as a regular starter and may move in search of regular football, while Italian international Jorginho has reportedly signed a three-year deal with Brazilian club Flamengo to depart at the end of the season on a free transfer when his contract expires at the end of the season.

Reiss Nelson, Marquinhos, and Raheem Sterling are also expected to leave Arsenal this summer in search of more playing time. Nelson, the English winger, has been linked with a move away from the club due to limited playing time, while Marquinhos, the Brazilian winger, has struggled to make an impact.
Sterling, signed on loan from Chelsea has been inconsistent in his performances and may be surplus to requirements.
Several players, including Oleksandr Zinchenko, Thomas Partey, Jakub Kiwior, Fabio Vieira, and Leandro Trossard, have uncertain futures at Arsenal. While they are not expected to leave the club imminently, their long-term futures are still up in the air.
Takehiro Tomiyasu and Gabriel Jesus are two players who could potentially leave Arsenal this summer. Both players have been plagued by injuries and may be sold once their contracts expire. However, the club is open to offers for both players, and their futures will likely be decided in the coming weeks.
