Arsenal have approached Eintracht Frankfurt and Hugo Ekitike over summer deal

Arsenal have approached Eintracht Frankfurt and their striker Hugo Ekitike over a summer deal, according to RMC Sport journalist Fabrice Hawkins.
The 22-year-old and the Bundesliga club have agreed to let him leave in the coming weeks if suitors offer between €80 million and €100 million, and while the Gunners have a chance of landing him, they will face competition from Liverpool and Chelsea for his services.
Ekitike has notched 22 goals & 12 assists this term in 48 appearances and could be perfect for Arsenal in their search for a new number 9 this summer.
The former Paris Saint-Germain striker is ready to prove himself elsewhere, and a move to the Premier League could appeal to him after an impressive campaign in the German top-flight.
Arsenal have to sign a central striker if they want to win the English top-flight title next season, and the 6ft 3in forward is capable of improving their team with his goals and assists.
Ekitike is an excellent dribbler and passer of the ball, and his height makes him a constant aerial threat in the opposition box.
He is also a threat in counter-attacking situations and loves to do layoffs, playing a huge role to help Frankfurt finish third in the Bundesliga this term.
