Arsenal have received a significant boost in their pursuit of Borussia Dortmund star Jamie Bynoe-Gittens, with the Bundesliga club indicating they are open to offers for the talented winger.
The 20-year-old Englishman has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League in recent months, and Arsenal are believed to be among the frontrunners. Premier League rivals Chelsea and Newcastle United are also reportedly monitoring the situation.
Borussia Dortmund sporting director Sebastian Kehl has now addressed Bynoe-Gittens’ future, confirming interest in the player and hinting that the club would consider proposals. Speaking to Sport1, Kehl said: “There’s definitely a market for him. He’s a very exciting player. We’ll be having discussions soon. If offers come in, we’ll have to deal with them.”

Bynoe-Gittens has impressed this season, scoring 12 goals and providing five assists across all competitions for Dortmund. He joined the German side from Manchester City in 2020 and still has more than three years remaining on his current contract.

The futures of several senior players—including Giovanni Reyna, Niklas Süle, Salih Özcan, and Julian Brandt—are also uncertain.

“We want to reduce wages,” Kehl added. “That said, it’s possible we’ll continue with some of these players. But some may no longer be part of the BVB squad next season.”
Meanwhile, Arsenal are also exploring options to bolster their attacking line, with Sporting Lisbon striker Viktor Gyökeres among their reported targets. Portuguese media claim a deal may already be in place, though the Swedish striker remained coy when asked about his future.
“It’s football, I’m still here. I don’t know what’s going to happen. Nobody can predict the future,” Gyökeres said after a recent match. “I’m very happy to score and win. It’s incredible to feel this support—from the streets in the rain to days like today. Now we want to celebrate together.”
